Going on from the idea of having a flower show incorporating all the different horticultural groups in Derby, how about adding more flower boxes to the sport venues in Derby. There could be one or two at the reception to the new Moorways Sports Village, Derby Arena, and Springwood Leisure.
We could also add something similar to the Market Place when no events are on. We could have flower boxes dotted around the benches and garden parasols.
I think these would look really great in the Summer.
