Murals on Derby City Parks

What do you think of adding more murals to parks and the new Moorways Sports village? I think it would be great if local artists added a splash of colour to city and sports parks.

I think it would be good to see local artists add a mural in Normanton Park, behind the football and basketball courts. Maybe another could be added by the Normanton Park Café run by Green Thyme saying which days the café is open and what cakes are available to try.

I think something similar could be added to the new Moorways Sports village. It could have art showing Adam Peaty winning gold and other Olympic and Paralympic stars. They could be painted on murals set back around the car park or running track.

What do you think? Should local artists add to these parks and venues?
